Dr Bala, also a lecturer at the College of Science of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, told GNA that he would contest the Parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NPP in 2012. He said that if given the mandated, he would provide the required leadership and the needed facilities to improve the living conditions of the people.

Dr Bala said that the NDC Member of Parliament (MP) for the area has been tested and some of the people have lost trust in the MP and were yearning for change to ensure that the right person was elected to lead them. He said he would initiate strategies to win more voters for the NPP in Election 2012. Dr Bala appealed to NPP supporters to intensify their house-to-house campaign to win more sympathizers for the party. 28 Sept 10
