Drunkard drowns in a river at Gomoa Brofoyedur

The body of 35-year-old man believed to have drowned after drinking with friends has been found in a river at Gomoa Brofoyedur in the Gomoa Central district of the central region.

The deceased, Yaw Annan, unemployed was widely known in the area for drinking and acting weird upon the influence of alcohol.

His lifeless body was retrieved by environmental health officer and police.

He has been buried due to the state of the body at the time of recovery.
