Mr Dzamesi was the former Deputy Volta Regional Minister from 2000-2004.

The President of the Union, Lieutenant Colonel Bluno Gbologah (rtd.), noted that Mr Dzamesi's elevation was on account of his efforts and dedication to the development of the Region.

Lt. Col. Gbologah said Mr Dzamesi's landmark achievements in the Dzodze area as Deputy Regional Minister included the extension of pipe-borne water to Dzodze-Penyi, the extension of electricity to more communities and the rehabilitation and construction of schools and markets in the area.

He expressed the readiness of the Union to offer its support to and collaborate with Mr Dzamesi in his efforts towards developing and attracting investment to the Ketu District in particular and the Volta Region in general.

"Through thick and thin, day or night, we are ready, just call us, no assignment is too small or too big to accomplish", he said. Mr Dzamesi, who was a member of the Union during his secondary school days, expressed his appreciation for the effort of the Union and solicited its support to deliver his best.
