Effutu MP meets Assembly Members in the constituency

Winneba, Dec. 18, GNA - The Minister of Transport, Mr Mike Hammah, has appealed to assembly members to work hard and also contribute towards the success of the government's plan to ensure a "better Ghana". Mr Hammah, the Member of Parliament for Effutu, said this when he met assembly members in his constituency at Winneba and outlined his development agenda to them. He said assembly members should forget their partisan sentiments since the District, Municipal and Metropolitan assembly concepts is non-partisan and meant to improve the entire development of the people.

Among his agenda was the construction of a modern complex market at Winneba junction, extension of electricity to communities without light with part of his common fund and supporting needy but brilliants students to further their education. The MP said the road from Gyanganadze through Gyahadze linking Atechiedo to Sankro Junction would also be included and expressed the hope that members will assist in its early completion. The Assembly Members appealed to the government to give them some incentives quarterly to boost their morale.
