Effutu School Feeding programme committee reconstituted

Winneba, May 21, GNA - A nine-member reconstituted Effutu Municipal Implementation Committee of the Ghana School Feeding Programme headed by the Municipal Chief Executive, Nii Ephraim, has been inaugurated at Winneba. Other members are the Municipal Director of Education, the Director of the Ghana Health Service, the Director Ministry of Food and Agriculture, two members of the Assembly Social Services Sub-Committee and two assembly staff. Nii Ephraim said the assembly deemed it necessary to reconstitute the committee to ensure effective implementation of the programme and urged members to work hard to sustain it to benefit the children. He said the Ateitu/Osubonpanyin Municipal Assembly GK/Primary, Gyahadze MA KG and Primary, Gyangyanadze MA KG/Primary, Winneba Presbyterian KG and Primary and Nsuekyir Methodist KG and Primary schools in the Municipality are benefiting from the programme. Nii Ephraim said his out-fit was working hard to increase the number of schools benefiting from the programme.
