Shaibu Daudu alias Vandasco, Personal Assistant to Ellembelle MP making the presentation
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle Constituency and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has made a cash donation of GH¢10,000.00 to the Federation of Persons Living With Disabilities (PWDs) in Ellembelle as part of his social support services to the vulnerable in society.
The donation followed a request to the office of the MP to enable the Federation meet their transportation expenses to attend the biannual national conference of PWDs in the Savannah Region.
The presentation was done by the Ellembelle MP's Personal Assistant, Shaibu Daudu alias Vandasco to the executives of the Federation at Aya Elderly Care Center at Ampain on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
He said the gesture formed part of the MP's periodic life-saving intervention and livelihood empowerment support to the less privileged in the Ellembelle constituency.
Shaibu Daudu assured the disability group in the Constituency of the MP's continued support to cater for their welfare.
He called on them to rally behind Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah to succeed.
He disclosed that in October 2025, Armah-Kofi Buah distributed items to the disabled people in Ellembelle at Nzema Aiyinasi.
Unus Haruna Afful, Secretary to the Ellembelle Federation of Disability Organisation who received the physical cash, commended Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah for responding to their needs at a short notice.
"In fact, our MP Armah-Kofi Buah has done well, initially we lost hope but when we wrote to the office of the MP, we received good response from the office and this afternoon we are happy the MP has sent his PA to support us to attend this year's disabled conference in Savannah region", he stated.
He said the donation would offer them the opportunity to travel and participate in the conference.
He recalled the numerous interventions to the Federation over the years with the recent donation of assorted items and cash to disabled persons in the Constituency.
Isaac Essah, a government appointee on the Federation of Disability Organization at the Ellembelle District Assembly identified Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah as one MP who always offered unique opportunities to the less-privileged in the Ellembelle Constituency.
He conveyed the unflinching support of the Disability Group Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah and spurred him on to continue with the humanitarian gesture.
They therefore, took the opportunity to offer special prayers for Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah to live long.
