Eusbett Hotel, located in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region has been named the Hospitality Facility of the 2006 by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG).
The Hotel’s serene environment, excellent facilities and high quality service delivery had been a well-kept secret by many tourists, businessmen, and conference organizers. The Eusbett secret however became revealed on August 4, 2007 when the CIMG named and honored the hotel as the winner of the prestigious Hospitality Facility of the year – 2006 at the 18th National Marketing Performance Awards Ceremony held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Established in 1998 as an initiative of a Sunyani based businessmen, Mr. Sam Bennett, Eusbett Hotel is fast establishing itself as one of the very finest hotels in the country having been adjudged on several occasions as the Hotel of the year in the Brong Ahafo region by the Ghana Tourist Board.

Eusbett hotel had a very humble beginning. The hotel which began operations in 1998 with sixteen (16) rooms embarked on an ambitious expansion project in 2003 to increase its guest rooms from 16 to 83 with additional conference rooms, gym, swimming pool amongst other facilities. Through visionary and hardworking management, the expansion programme was completed before schedule in 2006.
The hotel with a total of eighty three (83) guest rooms is currently the largest in terms of facilities and number of guest rooms in the middle and Northern belts of the country eith Ashanti region inclusive. It currently employs 62 people
A citation accompanying the award noted that Eusbett Hotel boasts of four conference halls with capacities ranging from 15 to 300, a sports centre and gym which is the largest and best equipped in a hotel in Ghana and a well-equipped business centre inclusive of an internet café.
CIMG also praised Eusbett Hotel for its involvement “in serving the needs of the physically challenged at the Sunyani Social Welfare Centre as well as putting up a three-unit classroom block for the local Ridge Experimental School.”
In an interview with news men, Mr. Robert Mensah, the young General Manager of Eusbett Hotel said, “The award came at the right time as a reward for the good work the Hotel has done over the years”. He went further to state that the Hotel for the past three years had been focusing on a strategic plan aimed at rebranding the company to position itself amongst the very best in the country. The General Manager who showered great praises on his staff and clients said the Hotel would not be complacent but stick to its policy of continual improvement. He also commended CIMG for carrying out an intensive research to discover Eusbett Hotel.
