Fanteakwa Apagyahene, Nana Ofori Amoyaw II has appreciated the newly District Chief Executive (DCE) of Fanteakwa District, Hon. Charles Oware Tweneboah saying he has seen that Begoro and Fanteakwa will develop under his administration.

According to him, the chiefs presented problems of the district especially it capital, Begoro to the District Chief Executive (DCE) which was number of times reported to the previous adminstration with no fruitful results yielded.

"After the submission of the problems facing the district, the DCE, hon. Charles Oware Tweneboah with his team went round with us and verified as we made mention in our memo and took a quick action on the Fanteakwa District Hospital Death Trap Road afterwards, which I think he will be a good leader for our district"

He said, Begoro as Fanteakwa District Capital has been in a poor state which even does not look like a capital of a district. There are no developmental projects, good roads in the district meanwhile the the distict produces timber, farm products among others to boost economical growth in the country.

He therefore called on the government to assist the maintenance of the district with the district assembly since it plays a keen role to the development of the country.

"The district assembly alone can't develop Fanteakwa, all roads lead to communities including a stretch of road which connect from the regional capital, Koforidua are in death shapes so government should come to our aid" he stated.
