A female police officer, identified only as Corporal Boakye, has reportedly committed suicide in Manmponteng, in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
A video has been shared online by Kumasi-based Angel FM, showing the police officer's body being carried away by the police to the morgue.
In the video, neighbors, loved ones, and family members were seen wailing and crying over the death of the police officer, while the police carried the body away for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
The reason behind the female police officer's actions is yet to be ascertained, as police investigate the issue.
