The Volta Regional capital, Ho, is hosting the first regional Town Hall Meeting by the Ministry of Information, today, Friday, June 28.
The meeting, which will be replicated in all regions is bringing together five sector Ministers and Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) in the Volta region to engage the public on government policies.
Dr Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister is hosting Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Minister of Information, Cynthia Morrison, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister of Education, Kwaku Agyemang-Manu, Minister of Health and Chief Executive of Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), Dr Ibrahim Anyars for the engagement.
A Municipal and District project exhibition has been mounted outside the G.M. Afeti Auditorium of the Ho Technical University, venue for the event, to showcase government's provision of social amenities and services.
Chiefs, traditional leaders, religious leaders, heads of departments and agencies, students of various tertiary institutions in the region, students in second cycle institutions, media houses and security service personnel have assembled for the event.
