Dunkwa-On-Offin (C/R), April 10, GNA - Five basic schools in the Upper Denkyira district have been selected for the NEPAD school feeding programme, local authorities said at the weekend. The schools are Abudukrom, Ameyaw, Baadoa, Bethleham and Zion Camp D/A schools.
Mr Richard Anane Adabor, the District Chief Executive, stated this at the weekend when he led the district task force to some communities to sensitise them on development projects being undertaken by the district assembly this year.
He said the assembly was constructing a library complex valued at 1.8 billion cedis for some decentralized departments in the area. Mr Adabor restated appeals to parents to take advantage of the capitation grant to send their children to school. He also urged residents to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme for better health care delivery.
