Breman Kokoso (C/R), June 22, GNA - A five-year-old girl, Priscilla Agyei was trapped to death when the wall of the room where she slept with three others collapsed on her after heavy rains at Breman Kokoso in the Central Region.
Priscilla, a Kindergarten One pupil at the Methodist Basic School, was first rushed to the Brakwa Health Centre and then to the Breman Asikuma Catholic Hospital where she died soon after admission.
The three others escaped unhurt.
Burial has since taken place at the Breman Kokoso in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency at the Brakwa Police Station Monday, the father of the deceased, Mr John Agyei said that while he was in an adjacent room he heard the noise of the collapse of the wall and an alarm raised by the other children in the room.
He said sympathizers came round and the debris was removed from the victim.
