The Accra-Tema motorway has been left unmotorable after a heavy downpour on Monday, 28 October 2019.
The road was flooded after an hour of rain causing a gridlock.
The resultant flood carried plastic waste onto the road as the currents forced their way through choked drains.
Flooding is a perennial ritual in Ghana, especially the capital whenever there is heavy downpour.
