Madam Amina Achiaa, the District Dirctor of Education in the Sekyere Central District of the Ashanti Region has toured all the seven circuit Centres in her district to counsel the 862 Junior High School (SHS) final year candidates in the fourth coming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The District Director made this known at Beposo in the Sekyere Central District, when she met the final year JHS pupils and their teachers at the Beposo Circuit, as part of her counseling tour of all the seven circuits in the district, to wish the candidates well.
She cautioned the pupils to have confidence in themselves, report at the examination centres on time and avoid sending any foreign materials to the centres, and abide by the rules of the Wes African Examination Council (WAEC).
She said the presence of the police and invigilators at the Examination Centres are to give protection and Security to Examination materials and ensure orderliness, adding that, they must not be scared with the presence of the police.
In all, 484 males and 378 females from 42 schools are taking part in the five – day examination, which begins on Monday.
