The uncompleted Islamic blind school
Peace Dawah Media and the Ali Amir Foundation have embarked on a groundbreaking project to construct Ghana's first Islamic blind school.
While the project has made significant progress, additional support is needed to complete the school.
The construction of the school, which began in August 2021, has cost $10,000 so far.
However, an additional $30,000 is needed to complete the project. The total cost of the project is estimated to be approximately 1.3 million cedis.
The project is currently in its sixth phase, which includes plastering and installing window frames. Additional support is needed to complete the project, including donations and partnerships.
According to Khalifa Faith, CEO of Peace Dawah Media Foundation, "The Islamic blind school is a vital initiative that addresses a significant gap in Ghana's education system. Blind and visually impaired students face numerous challenges in accessing quality education, and this school aims to bridge that gap. We are committed to providing inclusive education and empowering these students to reach their full potential."
Khalifa Faith emphasized, "We believe that education is a fundamental right, and every child deserves access to quality education. By supporting this project, you will be empowering blind and visually impaired students to reach their full potential and make a meaningful difference in their lives."
He, however, called on Ghanaians, Muslim communities, and corporate entities to support the completion of the project.
