GHS presents vehicle to Atwima-Mponua Health Directorate

Kumasi, June 15, GNA - Dr Kofi Asare, Ashanti Regional Director of Health Services, has cautioned health directors and other personnel against indiscriminate use of government vehicles allocated to their outfits.

He said proper use and maintenance of government vehicles helped them to last longer.

Dr Asare gave the caution when he presented a Nissan pick-up on behalf of the GHS to the Atwima-Mponua District Health Directorate in Kumasi.

He said government was doing everything possible to provide vehicles to all regional and district health facilities in the country for efficient health delivery and to assist in outreach programmes. Mrs Belinda Baffoe-Bonnie, Atwima-Mponua District Director of Health, who received the vehicle on behalf of the Directorate, thanked the GHS and gave the assurance that the vehicle would be maintained and used for the purpose for which it was provided.
