GIS Annual Sponsored Walk and donation slated Oct. 15

The 45th edition of Ghana International School's Annual Sponsored Walk is slated for Saturday, October 15, 2016.

The walk route which covers about 15 kilometres is PTA organized and it starts from the Comet Estate Kitase through Berekuso and ends at the Presbyterian Women’s Institute in Abokobi from 7am to 1pm.

This traditional annual event raises money for both school projects and support for Mental Health, in memory of two GIS students, Jason and Kerry Fung.

A portion of the proceeds from the walk will be donated to the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital.
