The Management of Ghana Water Company Limited in the Eastern Region has urged residents of Akim Oda, Akwatia and its environs to store water for use for some days .
This is because residents are not likely to get constant supply of water as they usually do.
Management says parts of the Water Treatment Plant in Oda was inundated by floods after a downpour on Monday night.
Vital equipment needed to supply water to the above-mentioned areas have been badly affected.
“We entreat consumers to store water and use it judiciously while our engineers are working around the clock to solve the problem. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
