Gbawe: Drivers laud Obuobia for reshaping bad roads

Trotro and taxi drivers in Mallam and Gbawe have expressed gratitude to the Parliamentary Candidate of National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Weija-Gbawe constituency, Obuobia Darko-Opoku for reshaping and grading bad roads in the constituency.

According to these drivers the nature of roads in the constituency have posed serious challenges to their operations especially to their shock absorbers and sumps.

They said with the grading from blue cross junction to Gbawe lorry station, their frustrations and challenges were solved.

The road from blue cross junction to Gbawe lorry station has been in a deplorable state for years now as well as the borla road in mallam.

The drivers commended the Parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Obuobia Darko-Opoku in the Weija-Gbawe constituency for coming to their aid in reshaping the roads for smooth movement of vehicular traffic.

During the grading of the roads some drivers who approached Obuobia Darko-Opoku expressed gratitude to her and said "we would wish to have our roads tarred especially while we are about to experience rainfall this season.

Obuobia Darko-Opoku as part of her changing lives and transforming the Weija-Gbawe constituency agenda is reshaping all bad roads in the Weija-Gbawe constituency, starting from the Blue cross junction to Gbawe lorry station and Mallam borla road within the constituency.

According to some of the drivers their effort to have the Municipal chief executive and the Member of Parliament to reconstruct these roads have prove futile.

Obuobia Darko-Opoku has also expressed commitment to bringing development into the constituency and transform lives for social economic advancement of the constituency.

Madam Obuobia Darko-Opoku speaking to some of the commuters urged them to retain John Dramani Mahama as president and vote her as the parliamentary member to extend development to the youth and people of the constituency as part of the live changing and transforming Weija-Gbawe constituency agenda.
