In a heart-warming celebration that blended music, gratitude, and the spirit of giving, Ghana Post on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, held its maiden Christmas Carols Service, an event that marked a refreshing chapter in the company’s history and reflected its renewed commitment to serving Ghanaians with warmth, speed, and reliability.

The ceremony brought together staff, partners, and stakeholders in a beautifully lit hall filled with uplifting hymns, soul-stirring choral performances, and messages of hope. For many members of the Ghana Post family, it was more than just a gathering; it was a moment of reflection, thanksgiving, and unity after a year of hard work and transformation.

But the day offered more than music and celebration. It also became the platform for the much-anticipated launch of Ghana Post’s festive initiative: “Delivering Joy to Your Door.”

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Ghana Post, Madam Rita Sraha, shared the heart behind the initiative, describing it as a gift from the national postal service to the nation during a season defined by love and connection.

“We want to bring joy to your doorstep,” she said. “Ghana Post delivers parcels, letters, and anything you want to send to your loved ones. This season, we want to make it even more joyful, with more efficiency, more speed, and more care. We are ready and on standby to deliver joy to the people you love.”

She emphasised that this is the first time Ghana Post is combining a carols service with a company-wide competition among its departments, divisions, and units, a move designed to strengthen internal bonds and energize staff for the busy season ahead.

The campaign invites every Ghanaian, individuals, retailers, SMEs, and corporate institutions, to entrust their deliveries to Ghana Post, whether hampers, books, gifts, or customer packages. With delivery operations already in full swing, the Mada Rita Sraha noted that the company’s motorbikes and logistics teams are gearing up for a bustling Christmas period.

“We are targeting everybody,” she explained. “If you have something to send, a hamper, a book, gifts for schoolchildren or relatives, bring it to Ghana Post. We will deliver with love and professionalism.

For some of our existing customers, we will offer discounts based on volume. For others, we’ll show appreciation in various ways. This season is about recognizing our customers and inviting them to grow with us.”

She also encouraged the public to use only the official website, www.ghanapost.com cautioning against fraudulent sites mimicking Ghana Post’s brand.

“The only trustworthy link is our official website. Please do not fall for scams. Ghana Post is reliable, and we will continue to deliver.”

Reflecting on the company’s recent achievements, Mada Rita Sraha highlighted the impressive workflow handled in Ghana Post’s passport delivery service, which has successfully processed over 80,000 passports. This, she noted, is a testament to the company’s strengthened capacity and readiness for high-volume operations.

“We will update the media as we go along, sharing our volumes and showing the true impact of our ‘Delivering Joy’ initiative,” she assured.

“To every Ghanaian, we wish you the very best. Keep giving. Keep believing. And allow us, Ghana Post, to help you deliver joy to the people who matter to you.”

As Christmas draws closer, Ghana Post stands poised not only as a logistics provider but as a messenger of hope, connection, and heartfelt service
