The Parliamentary Committee on Sanitation and Water Resources of Ghana, led by the Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency, Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah, is set to embark on a week-long benchmarking visit to the Republic of Rwanda.

The study tour, scheduled for 30th November to 6th December 2025, forms part of the Committee’s ongoing efforts to deepen its understanding of best practices in sanitation management, water governance and environmental sustainability.

The delegation will engage with key Rwandan government agencies and institutions responsible for sanitation, waste management and water resources.

They are expected to observe Rwanda’s remarkable progress in urban cleanliness, community-led sanitation initiatives, solid waste recycling and the country’s innovative approaches to environmental protection achievements that have positioned Rwanda as one of Africa’s cleanest and most environmentally conscious nations.
