Oheneyere Gifty Anti
Oheneyere Gifty Anti will on Saturday host an all-Muslim women conference, an event which commemorates the eighth anniversary of the establishment of her GDA Concept which champions the cause of women in the country.
To do the honours for the occasion are three important Ghanaian women who have reached enviable heights in their chosen careers.
Hajia Alima Mahama, a former Minister for Gender under the previous Kufuor administration, Hajia Sa’Adatu Maida, a Commissioner of the Electoral Commission (EC) and Hajia Rahmat Muslim will all deliver inspiring speeches which should wield a changing effect on the lot of women, especially those of them in the Islamic faith.
It is instructive that Gifty Anti’s outfit is the first to host a conference for Muslim women.
Coming at the heels of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, it must redefine the direction of Muslim women in the country, especially providing a platform to showcase role models for the up and coming female Muslim youth.
Since Gifty Anti she floated her GDA Concepts Limited she has taken critical steps to change alot of women and harness their potentials towards national development.
Even teenage girls have identified themselves with Gifty Anti so much that some of them have had to depend on her for succuor when they are oppressed and their rights trampled upon.
Saturday’s conference, she said, is intended to among other objectives get women to become agents of positive changes in the Ghanaian society.
The programme is scheduled for 9am on 16th July 2016 at the forecourt of the GDA Studios, Kokomlemle.
Non-Muslim women, the organizers added, should come and listen to the story of women told by female dignitaries.
