Give Me Hope Foundation organizes impact summit for students

Give Me Hope Foundation has organized youth impacts summit program for students at Akorme Senior High School in the Volta region in partnership with Rising Icons Foundation and Girls Today Women Tomorrow Foundation.

The mentoring program is themed “ . Harnessing the Potentials of the Youths for a Better and Sustainable Future”. The theme demonstrates our vision of providing tools for students to enhance their potentials, harness creativity and build confidence both in their academic and career endeavours.

Wisdom Dordoe who is the CEO for Give Me Hope Foundation said: There is the need to encourage students to become exceptional in society by promoting individual growth through academic achievement. We would promote educational awareness for students by helping them understand the benefits of education and to strive for excellence.

Dr Gloria Amegatcher who is the Vice President for Give Me Hope Foundation educate the students on the current sickness Coronavirus which affecting whole world. Students where educated on the causes, symptoms and preventive measures in case it comes to Ghana.

Great speakers and individuals such as; Pearl Ama Akordor, DNA Masesof, Gideon Frederick Owusu, Anthony Nyame , all served as able mentors and took the candidates through various levels of preparing adequately for their respective career path.

The students also had the privilege of experiencing psychological counseling as it will ensure harmony between their personal life and academic pursuit, albeit.

Although it’s just a day’s seminar, I believe it has afforded the children time to acquaint themselves with ideas on career path choosing.

Most of the participants were excited about the seminar and expressed their profound gratitude to Give Me Hope Foundation for organizing such a seminar for them.

According to Wisdom Dordoe, the founder of the foundation, the campaign is aimed at empowering and improve lives of students and also create platform to enhance students’ skills and talents.

“Education is a powerful weapon which we can use to change the world.” Said Nelson Mandela and we at Give Me Hope Foundation deem it an honour to be part of this noble quest and to uphold this weaponry; to provide the needed tools for the betterment of our school children.

He, however, extends his appreciation to all the speakers, members, partners, organizers and donors for supporting such worthy cause and reiterated the need for institutions, NGOs, philanthropists, donors and advocates to partner them in organizing inspiring programs for students across the country and beyond
