Golden Jubilee freedom flame arrives at Bibiani

Bibiani (W/R), Feb 27, GNA - Hundreds of people in the Bibiani and its surrounding communities lined up the streets to catch a glimpse of the Golden Jubilee freedom flame that arrived from Kumasi on Sunday. The crowd including school children wearing Ghana colours cheered and sang patriotic songs as Mr Joseph Evans Amoah, the Western Regional Minister, Mr Kingsley Adjei-Manu, the District Chief Executive and Nana Ogyeahoho Gyebi, Omanhene of Sefwi-Anhwiaso, received the flame. Mr Amoah appealed to Ghanaians to let the freedom flame rekindle them, bury their differences and live as one people with a common destiny.
