Gomoa-Adaa (C/R), Nov. 15, GNA - Management of the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI), at Gomoa-Adaa in the Central region has appealed to the Government to link the institute to the National electricity grid to facilitate the study of modern technology. It contended that the absence of electricity at the institute was hampering the study of programmes in science and modern technology. Mr. Justice K. Ansah, a Member of the Board of Governors of the Institute made the call when addressing the chiefs and people of Gomoa Amanful.
Mr. Ansah said the absence of electricity at the Institute had affected enrolment of students into the institute established about 20 years ago that had only 30 students, instead of the expected 300 students.
He commended the teaching staff for their good work and appealed to parents and guardians in the Gomoa District to send their children to the institute to acquire the requisite technical and vocational skills to make them useful citizens in future.
