The Gonjaland Youth Association is set to celebrate its anniversary with a four-day event in Buipe
The Gonjaland Youth Association is set to celebrate its anniversary with a four-day event in Buipe from April 2 to April 5, 2026.
The celebration, themed “Five Decades of Progress: Empowering the Gonjaland Youth for the Future,” will highlight the Association’s contributions to youth development and community advancement over the years.
The event is expected to bring together youth groups, traditional leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to reflect on achievements and chart a path for the future of young people in the Gonjaland area.
The Minister of Energy and Green Transition and Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu, John Abdulai Jinapor, is scheduled to participate in the celebration.
Organisers say the anniversary will feature a series of activities aimed at promoting youth empowerment, leadership, and socio-economic development within the region.
The programme is also expected to serve as a platform to strengthen unity among the youth and encourage greater participation in national development initiatives.
