The deceased, Madam Hellen Akporkplor, Fortune Abordzi (Her 5-month-old daughter), Prince Abordzi (Her 5-year-old son), and the cyclist, Bright Attivor, 14, died on the spot. In an exclusive interview with Godwin Abordzi (Husband of Hellen Akporkplor), who spoke to this paper in an uncontrollable tears, said his son, Prince, fell sick and was sent to the Bethel Clinic in Akatsi for medical treatment.

He continued that after he was fully treated by the medical doctors on duty, his lovely wife, Hellen, called him on his Cell Phone to pick them around the Akatsi new market.

In tears he furthered that he hurriedly, drove in there to pick them to Afife in the Ketu North District, where they reside.

In what he described as a shock of his lifetime, the Mercedes Benz on top speed in front of him, suddenly, veered off the road and run into his wife and two kids, and the 14-year-old boy, killing them instantly.

"I couldn't believe my eyes", he said. On the other hand, Mr. Ativor, a father of Bright, expressed with resentment that his son, after school, went to Akatsi to buy credit for sale, and never returned.

He later had a call that his son was crushed to death by a certain vehicle. "Before l got to the scene, my son and three others were lying dead in a pool of blood, with a piece of his skull resting on the ground. He never ate after school before his untimely death", he explained.

The paper further findings have it that Bright Ativor, was a Form One Student of Monome D/A JHS, also in the Akatsi South District.

Passengers on-board the vehicle sustained various degrees of injuries, and was rushed to the Akatsi District Hospital.

However, the mortal remains of Hellen, her two children, and Bright, were deposited at the St. Paul's Morgue, Akatsi.

The people of Akatsi and its environs, are appealing to the Mahama-led NDC government to, as a matter of urgency, construct speed humps at that side of the road to avoid further occurrences.
