Government pensioners hold meeting

Nkoranza (B/A), March 9, GNA- Mr. Frank Egyir Arthur, Brong Ahafo Regional Secretary of the Pensioners Association has advised pensioners to regularly visit pensioners' offices and update their records. Addressing members of the Nkoranza District Branch of the Association at Nkoranza on Tuesday, he urged them to recognize themselves as one people and share ideas to enable them to improve their living conditions.

Mr. Francis Kwabena Enchil Awuah, Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman, said the Government was making efforts to pay all arrears in salaries due to pensioners.

Mr. Awuah commended the efforts of the Nkoranza District branch to construct an office accommodation to enhance their activities. He urged members to pay their contributions promptly to ensure the early completion of the project.
