Pokuase (GA/R), Sept. 15, GNA 96 Reverend Dr Oheneba Dornyo, President of International Theological Seminary has called on the government and private schools to provide library facilities for pupils in rural areas.

This, he said, would enhance teaching and learning, adding that, such facility would discourage pupils from roaming aimlessly about. Dr Dornyo made the call when he commissioned a 74-million-cedi library block for the Acropolis Maranatha Academy at Pokuase. It formed part of the school's graduation, speech and prize giving day on Saturday.

He said the project was funded by the Parent-Teacher-Association of the school.

Mr James Afudogo, Assistant Director of Education for Ga West, called on school children to make good use of the library during their leisure times.

Rev. George Abdul Ghanem, the founder of the school said the focus of the school was education for development.
