Following a successful launch of its maiden album titled Misericordaie which translates as Mercy, the Grace Choral International is set to thrill lovers of choral music this festive season with a concert dubbed “Classical Christmas” at the Amphi theatre of the Ghana National theatre on 4th December, 2016.

The concert is to help raise funds to support the James camp prison as a symbol of God’s mercy made manifest and more effective on humanity through an instrument of a people gifted to sing.

Speaking in an interview, the Director of the Grace Choral International, Mr. Johannes 0too said aside the concert facilitating the third successive donation to be made by the choir to the prison, it will also be an opportunity for patrons to enjoy songs on mercy and other languages aside English and Ghanaian languages.

“This is the year of mercy hence patrons will be enjoying songs on mercy, songs from Cameroon, songs in Latin and we are doing these to enrich the music repertoire of Ghanaians with music from other places. One of the corporal works of mercy is feeding the hungry and that is exactly what we are going to do with the proceeds of the concert. For the third time we are going to donate to the James town Prison and we are urging Ghanaians to come in their numbers to support a worthy course as they enjoy good music,” he said.

The Grace Choral international was formed in 2013 to be a force to reckon with in the evangelization mission through music. It is a choir that brings together nationals of other West African countries to promote cohesion and integration of the West African Sub Region and beyond.
