Osae-Krodua(C/R), June 1, GNA - Farmers and petty traders at Osae-Krodua in the Central Region have been sensitised on HIV/AIDS to be mindful of their sexual activities.
The exercise, which also covered the people of Jei-Krodua and Krodua Mangoase, was organized by the Directors of the Ghana Renaissance Foundation (GRF), a non-governmental organisation with funds from the Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC).
Speaking at the function, Mr Frank Ekow Longdon, Executive Director of the GRF, advised the farmers to refrain from dealing with multiply partners to avoid contracting the disease.
They should also educate their teenage children not to indulge in any promiscuous activity, adding, that the youth are the window of hope for the country and must be protected.
