Hammah inspects project

Gomoa-Gyangyanadze (C/R), May 1, GNA - Mr Mike Allen Hammah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu, has inspected the health centre project initiated by the government at Gyangyanadze, in the Awutu-Efutu-Senya District.

The project is being sponsored by some international donor agencies. Mr Hammah appealed to the chiefs and people of the town to rekindle their self-help spirit to enable them to attract more external assistance.

He urged people to support government to enable it complete the project as scheduled so that the people could get access to medical care.

Mr Hammah appealed to the Assembly to assist the people to initiate developments projects to improve the standard of living.

He advised the people against the setting of bushfires indiscriminately and asked them to create fire belts around cleared bushes before setting fire to them to prevent fire from spreading to other areas.

Mr Hammah asked the people to tolerate each other's views and to ensure free and fair elections in December.
