Kumawu (Ash), March 3, GNA - Mr Jasper Kwasi Ahovey, Headmaster of the Tweneboa Kodua Secondary School, has called on stakeholders to help fence the school.

He said this would help to keep the school land intact for future expansion and to prevent unauthorised entry to the school by strangers. Mr Ahovey was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Kumawu in the Sekyere East District on Wednesday on the development of the school.

The headmaster urged the District Assembly to expedite action on getting the one-kilometre road from Kumawu to the school tarred. He was very grateful to the government for upgrading the school to a model status, which had brought a lot of infrastructure facilities to the school to facilitate effective teaching and learning.

Mr Ahovey, however, stressed the need for improvement in the water supply system in Kumawu so that the water closets and other facilities being provided under the project could be put to full use.

He called for the provision of more bungalows for teaching and non-teaching staff so that they could stay in the school to ensure effective supervision of the students and smooth running of the school.
