Nana Amprofi Appiah-Kubi V, Krontihene of Atuntumere in the Kotoku Traditional Area, has called on the Birim South District Assembly to come to the aid of Atuntumere.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) he said for several years now, development has eluded the town and this has reduced the standard of living in the area.
Nana Amprofi called on the assembly and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), to assist the town to improve its environmental concerns, and that, the community needs a KVIP and refuse containers to reduce littering.
He also appealed to the district office of the Ghana Education Directorate to endeavor to send teachers to the only school in the town to help arrest the falling standard of education in the area.
