Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has revealed he owns 108 houses in total.
Twenty-six of his pool of properties are located at the plush East Legon area in the national capital.
The opposition Legislator told TV3’s Nana Aba Anamoah in an interview Friday February 27, 2015 that despite all his possessions, he never considers himself a rich man.
The CEO of Kencity Multimedia declined revealing his net worth on the New Day show but said he lives a comfortable life.
Agyapong, who pulls no punches when criticising the government or his own party also brushed off perceptions of hi as a braggart.
“You think I brag but I don't,” he said, adding: “I only give you my background: where I started and where I am going.”
In Mr Agyapong’s view, he has not even achieved one-fifth of his dreams and, therefore, did not want to be called a rich man since that could “get me off track.”
He gave indications of his wish to get into the billionaires club. “I am not comparing myself to Ghanaian standards here: why, somebody should be a billionaire and I can't be a billionaire; I got to work.”
