Kumasi, Oct 8, GNA- Reverend Joseph K. Gyimah, founder of the True Light of Christ Church, said the services of Ghana Telecom are highly unreliable and not very efficient and for that matter, the company has no justification to review its tariffs upwards.
He was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Tuesday.
Rev Gyimah explained that an increment of tariffs when services are not reliable should not be encouraged since it could ward off investors to the country.
He regretted that while existing telephone facilities were not efficient the company is conceiving an idea of expanding services to various areas.
Rev Gyimah asked the company to first of all focus on enhancing and improving the efficiency of existing telephone facilities before evolving a programme to extend telephone facilities to other areas.
