The NGO also donated shoes and bags to the widows and disabled persons in the town.

It further organized a 93get-together" evening entertainment for the over 300 population of the orphanage.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Akim Oda, Mrs Augustina Padi, Executive Director of the NGO, said apart from the NGO sharing experiences with the Orphanage, it also supported clinics, schools, the physically challenged and villages.

Mr Justice Ohene, founder of the Home, said it was inspiring to give a helping hand to needy children and ensure that they were brought up in a socially acceptable manner and, therefore, appealed to benevolent societies to emulate the gesture.
