Mr Akanaba said it was also important to make sure that buildings were properly spaced and had good ventilation. He spoke of plans to relocate all cattle ranches in the Metropolis to Apagya near Kodie in the Afigya-Kwabre District. This is to help to check the situation where cattle are left to roam the streets, and compete with vehicles for space on the roads, resulting in traffic jams, especially during rush hours. Added to this is the unhealthy sight of tones of dung they leave behin= d on the streets. Mr Akanaba said the Assembly would need about GH¢350,000.00 to implement the relocation plan.
