KNUSTFORD Universty offers free training to journalists

The KNUSTFORD University College as part of its corporate responsibility has offered a free training in communications and leadership to journalists in Accra.

The programme which was launched on Friday July 8, 2016 at an orientation programme has about 30 beneficiary journalists across the country.

The fourteen-week short course is aimed at providing cutting edge knowledge for practicing media personnel to enable them be abreast with current trends in communication and to encourage them to be fair in their reportage to aid their professional development and society at large.

The beneficiaries will be taken through lessons on Critical thinking, Role of communication in governance and development, Social media, Access to information and it's contraints, Media development, Leadership and The Social structure of Ghana among others.

The Knustford University College is an accredited liberal arts, science and technology institution with campuses in Accra, East Legon and Kumasi. The school has as it's objective to educate people whiles helping to develope individual talents for societal well-being, comfort and growth. The instruction since it's establishment in the year 2007, has provided unique and excellent university education for the 21st century generation and beyond. The College provides assistance for hostel facilities and is set to role out communication, journalism and nursing programmes among other courses in a short while.
