Kabore School Complex PTA builds computer laboratory

Ho, May 28, GNA - The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Kabore School Complex in Ho on Thursday inaugurated an ultra modern computer laboratory for pupils of the school. The 41 computers and accessories estimated at about GH¢20,690 would be connected to the internet shortly. The project was to give a head start to the pupils in line with the new educational reform to make pupils literate in Information Communication Technology (ICT). Reverend Seth Mawutor, Vice Chairman of the PTA inaugurating the project said it was initiated by Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Kotia, former Commanding Officer of 66 Artillery Regiment for the benefit of the pupils.

The project was to give a head start to the pupils in line with the new educational reform to make pupils literate in Information Communication Technology (ICT). Reverend Seth Mawutor, Vice Chairman of the PTA inaugurating the project said it was initiated by Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Kotia, former Commanding Officer of 66 Artillery Regiment for the benefit of the pupils. He urged the teachers to encourage and monitor the pupils to use the facility to upgrade their knowledge and its constructive use. "We the parents must also encourage our children to use such facilities at home wisely and not for mastering tricks and illegal activities such as internet fraud," he added. Mr Samuel Amedzor, Chairman of the PTA said the second phase of the project would soon commence and called on all parents to support it. Mrs Faustine Letsa, a parent commended the PTA for their foresight and the achievement.
