It all started under the guidance and blessings of the Ga Dzasetse Nii Dr. Tetteh Kwei II who steers the affairs of the Ga Paramount Stool Dzase ably supported by his immediate two (2) Assistant Generals namely Numo Agyemankese I and Nii Akropong IV.
On Saturday October 19, 2019, the Ga Dzase started the celebration of the fresh yam rites with a wonderful performance by the Abola Adowa group.
The Ga Mantse King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II took to the dancing floor after a number of traditional authorities have had their turn.
The Ga Mantse Asafoiatse Nii Kojo Nseni Mankattah, the Abola Mantse Nii Ahene Nunoo III, the Ga Manye's representative, and others as well took their turn in accordance with Ga kusum y? feo oo.
The newly refurbished Ga Mantse Stool House was lighted with the presence of representatives from Gborbu, Nungua, a host of worwoi-aworyei from the many priestly houses around.
All through the night, the presence of the fore fathers was felt.
Their message was simply, unity, peace and love.
By morning, well-wishers came in to congratulate the Ga Dzase.
Friends and well-wishers sent messages humbly requesting the King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II to be ready to accept all the lost children who desire to return to his fold to strengthen his reign and help develop the Ga State.
Responding to the numerous requests, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II stated emphatically that all Ga-Dangmes do have a stake and a role to play in his administration and that is the reason he is extending a hand to all to offer their love, good intentions and skills to fully empower the Ga Stool.
''Developing the Ga State is my main agenda and this will be achieved. Ga is the capital and the middle of the world, soon, people will come from all over to enjoy a piece of us."
Ga Mantse Afiyie seized the opportunity to explain the reason for the celebration to the well-wishers and the press corps.
Nii Amui De-Graft Quaye thanked all well-wishers.
He promised that the year 2020 will see a lot of actions from the Ga Paramount Stool Dzase.
Ga Mantse Asafoiatse Nii Kojo Nseni Mankattah IV commented on the successful celebration and thanked all present and most especially the companies that supported the event.
