The NDC Constituency Executives of Kintampo North has vehemently debunk allegation leveled against the First Lady of the republic of Ghana, Mrs.

Lordina Dramani Mahama that she has handpicked, Ms. Victoria Hammah, the former deputy Communication minister and introduced her as the next MP for the constituency as published in the Daily Guide on November 13, 2013.

At a Press conference held in Kintampo, the Constituency executive of the NDC described the allegation as baseless and unfortunate, because the first lady has not come to Kintampo after the 2012 election, not alone to introduce Victoria Hammah as the next MP for the area.

According to the Constituency executives led by the secretary, Jinde Charles who was flanked by all the executives, it was admitted that the beleaguered former deputy communication minister came to Kintampo to thank the chiefs and people for their unflinching support during her vetting.

The chiefs and people met the former minister at the conference hall, which throughout her speech Ms. Victoria Hammah expressed no desire or intent to become the next MP for the Kintampo north constituency.

They disclosed that during the durbar to welcome the former deputy minister of communications, the incumbent MP, Steven Kunsu was seen sitting next to the deputy minister.

Mr. Jinde Charles has therefore entreated the general public, particularly the Kintampo north constituents to treat the Daily Guide’s publication with all the contempt it deserves.
