Matamanu (V/R), Oct 16, GNA - Mr Michael Yaw Gyato, Krachi East District Chief Executive, has said the strong commitment and team spirit of the assembly had translated into development in the district. He said this when he inaugurated two Community Health Plan Service compounds made up of a three-room bungalow and a clinic pavilion each at Matamanu and Njare and a three-unit classroom block at Dambai Lakeside.
The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and the Krachi East District Assembly funded the projects that cost 1.27 billion cedis. Mr Gyato said the district was the first in the Volta Region to complete its share of the project.
He said he would liase with the health authorities to send nurses to the clinics and also install solar systems for the clinics.
