Lawyer James Enu, aka the“Homeboy”, the parliamentary candidate for Tema West on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, on Saturday 19th November 2016, lead party members in the Lashibi area on a health walk through the streets for fitness purposes, and to announce his desire to wrestle the seat from the New Patriot Party in the constituency.
It was a combination of a door to door visitation, which gave the opportunity to interact with people in the area, and to preach peace which has been his message since he began his campaign.
Constituency executives like Chairman Ben Doe, his challenger in the primaries Bill Hedo Boglo, and other party faithful joined in the walk, spiced by the presence of brass band music, music blurring from vehicles, and party slogans from the group , provided the enabling environment for the occasion.
The group was then addressed by some of the constituency executives, and finally by lawyer James enu to intensify the campaign by propagating the works of the John Mahama led government and “Homeboy’s” vision for Tema West, after the event came to an end.
The Tema west constituency has been held by the New Patriotic Party, since 1992, but the National Democratic Congress lead by Lawyer James Enu, is poised to capture the seat being contested by Carlos Ahinkorah this time round.
