Let's All Support Quality Of Education In Ghana-Nana Amoabea ll

Ohemea Akuaba Foundation has donated books(textbooks and exercise books) worth thousands of cedis to some schools in the new juaben, Akuapem north and Yilo Krobo districts of the Eastern region. The beneficiary schools includes Oyoko methodist SHS, Benkum SHS, Okuapeman SHS, Adonten SHS as well as all basic schools within Akwapim north.

CEO of the foundation, nana Akosua Danquah Amoabea ll speaking to the media pledged his outfit's continious support to education in the region.

She said the foundation believes it is only quality education that can produce credible leaders in the country hence the need to support schools.

"We are determined to assist many schools as we can to help improve the quality of education within the region" the queenmother added.

Nana Amoabea ll however urged authorities of the beneficiary schools to take good care of the books and also appealed to students to make good use of the books in order to have good reflections in their studies.

"I think it is time we assist government in its quest to provide quality education to all ghanaians as it is the only to help raise the standard of education" nana added.

Nana Akua Darkoa Ampem I, queenmother of Larteh who received the books on behalf of Akuapem schools expressed gratitude to executives of the foundation for their goodwill to support education in the area. She commended them for their kind gesture and pledgd the books will be distributed equally to the listed schools.

She therefore called on NGOs and coperate bodies to emulate the kind gesture of the foundation.
