An ultra-modern church building has been commissioned for the Life Assembly Worship Centre at Buokrom, a suburb of Kumasi.

According to Reverend B.B. Yirenkyi, Associate Pastor of the church, the 2,000 capacity edifice was the result of the total commitment of the leadership and congregation to build a sanctuary in honour of the Most High God, hence its accolade, “Fire Ground”.

He said the church started about six years ago in a rented apartment and it was by God’s grace that they had come that far.

Rev. Yirenkyi commended church members and all well wishers, who contributed in diverse ways to put up the new chapel, and asked for God’s blessings for them.

Speaking to the GNA after the commission ceremony, Rev. Christian Andrews, Head Pastor of the church, said the Lord God Almighty had tasked His prophets to promote the good news of salvation, and this they (prophets) dare not fail.

He said it was time for true men of God to work diligently to liberate God’s people from poverty, ignorance and starvation.

Rev. Andrews, who is popularly known as Sofo Kyiriabosom charged his fellow prophets to rise up to their calling in order to be worthy ambassadors of Christ.

“Let’s stop sitting on the fence, with the excuse that the Lord will do it, God’s time is the best; the time to act is now” he stated.

Sofo Kyiriabosom emphasized that global happenings and events pointed to the fact that the end time was nearer than they ever thought.

He said, it therefore behooved God’s servants to intensify their efforts at the propagation of the gospel of salvation, so that as many people as possible would be saved into God’s Kingdom.
