One of Ghana’s most promising motivational speakers Emmanuel Asieme Ayine has charged the youth in the Upper East Region to build a positive mindset as they chase their dreams.
Addressing a gathering of young people during his book launch and promotion at the Bolgatanga Veterans Administration of Ghana (Vag) Hall, he shared ‘failure begins from a negative mindset and germinates into a reality out of a lack of zeal to conquer one's weaknesses”. He added, “when one is sight-trapped in a negative attitude, his ‘hunger’ to act right diminishes, and it can cause you to lose focus”.
Emmanuel was optimistic that, if the youth can change their mentality relative to how they view themselves, success is guaranteed. He also noted, growing up he held the view that people from the northern part of the country were incapable of succeeding. “I have now realised that the redeem sounds different, we only become incapacitated because of how we view ourselves.”
The headmaster of Emmanuel’s former school (Zuarungu Senior High) Mr Amaliga Simon, who chaired the programme expressed profound fulfilment in what Emmanuel has become. According to him, he feels honoured as the headmaster of the school that contributed to Emmanuel’s academic fortunes”. He admonished the youth to adopt similar steps towards placing the region on a respectable premium.
Adumolga Abigail, programs coordinator of Youth Harvest Foundation read sections of Emmanuel’s book (The Success Theory) and shared lessons that almost left everyone prepared to confront life’s most pressing challenges with determination.
