M-Cri Celebrates Daasebre @75

The Media-Corporate Response Initiative(M-CRI) of the Ghana Journalists Association wishes to enlist the Media fraternity to join in wishing Daasebre Prof(Emeritus) Oti Boateng, the Omanhene of New Juaben Traditional Area, a happy birthday, and to celebrate with M-CRI the 75th milestone of a worthy life whose unparallel exploits , and iconic personality remains an inspiration to the youth to aspire to global heights in academic excellence, public service and cultural leadership.

A release signed by the Executive Director of the M-CRI in Accra, Mr. Abdulai Salifu, describes Daasebre as a legend in cultural leadership and scholarship with an unquestioned intellectual authority in statistics at the global level. The statement noted that at an advanced age of 75 and still in active service, Daasebre exudes so much inspiration with a distinctive youthful spirit and drive, a rare trait that makes a difference in society.

Daasebre ,whose 75th birthday falls on the 11th of March,2013, remains in active service at the United Nations as a Sub-Saharan African representative on the International Civil Service Commission.

Daasebre Oti Boateng is the Life-Patron of the Media-Corporate Response Initiative (M-CRI), a CSR unit and Development Organ of the media under the Ghana Journalists Association, committed to promoting Media Involvement in Development and Development Journalism in the country.
