Begoro (E/R), Dec. 5, GNA - The Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has presented three computers with accessories and 50 bags of cements, worth over 20 million cedis to the Begoro Presbyterian Secondary School.
The presentation was in fulfilment of a promise made by Mr Ofosu-Ampofo sometime ago.
Presenting the items, Mr Ofosu-Ampofo expressed his appreciation to the headmaster and staff of the school, for working hard to increase the population of the school from 300 students to over 1000 students. He called on the students to take their studies seriously, so that the school could grow to join the grade "A" schools in the country and assured them of his desire to be always associated with the school in whatever capacity he might find himself.
Receiving the presents, the headmaster of the school, Mr Ebenezer O. Charway thanked Mr Ofosu-Ampofo for the presentation. He described Mr Ofosu-Ampofo as honourable person, who had always fulfilled promises he made to the school or request made by the school to him.
Mr Charway said the use of the same hall for general assembly and dining had not been convenient enough for the school and said the school authorities would need about 100 bags of cement for the construction of a shed to be used as a dining hall to free the assembly hall.
