MP supports Agona East schools with computers, desks and building materials

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East, Hon. Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr (Mrs.) has fulfilled promises she made to some basic schools in her constituency by distributing three packets of roofing sheets and twenty bags of cement for the completion of three (3) unit classroom blocks at the Agona Kwanyako SDA primary.

The MP also donated fifty dual desks to Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC) basic school, and thirty dual desks to Kwansakrom AEDA and Otwakwaa AEDA primary schools.

Hon. Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr moved her gift bags to Mensakrom Islamic school where she donated five computers and accessories. The donation of the computers and accessories was a request made to her by the chiefs of Mensakrom.

Dropping these donations at the various points of visit, the head teachers and the entire teaching staff of the beneficiary schools could not hide their joy as they congratulated the MP for the good works and pledged their unflinching support.

They also promised to ensure that the items donated to them are put to good use to the benefit of all students.

The programme ended at Agona Otwakwaa with a meeting with the entire party folks.

At that meeting, Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr congratulated the constituency party executives for working hard to ensure victory in the coming elections.

She said, she was fully committed to fulfil her promises to the people of Agona East and that she will continue to offer the necessary support required to make the lives of the people better.

She however urged Prof. Kwesi Yankah to concentrate on helping improve education in Agona East and stop attacking former president John Mahama.

At the end of the meeting however, each of the over 300 party members present left fulfilled and poised to work hard for the NDC whilst expressing great appreciation to their MP for the great things she is doing in their lives and lives of the constituents.
